I like the UEFA cup as it gives the mid table teams a shot at some Euro competition. The only problem they have with it is the losers out of the Champions League get to play in the tournament. If they got rid of that aspect, then the mid table clubs could have a shot at a nice prize instead of having to compete with the bigger clubs who can't get it done in the Champions League.
