will fifa 09 for the ps3 have the option of having the champions league or the uefa cup i miss that since 03 they took it out eveon though they did not call it the champions leauge but ecc will it be back?

well,guys, i have bad news :(....FIFA 09 on PC wiil have the same current gen of graphics........so,don't make illusions,and fifa 09 on PC won't have 3d fans, many golas cellebrations,.

stop the glicth i find that cos of the pre animations it builds a list of buttons that u pressed and now u want 2 keep the ball not pass 2 the smelly defender but u cant change it and defo needs 2 b one day at a time :)

First of all I would like to congratulate EA on re-converting me from Pro Evolution Soccer. I played FiFa games from FiFa 99 to FiFa 04 before switching to Pro Evo, but FiFa 08 was a much improved effort over previous games and outshone Pro Evolution.
I have compiled a list of 100 improvements that I feel would improve FiFa and cement my position as a FiFa fan with FiFa 09

ESSENTIALS

1) Have a TV company sponsor the game to make it feel more like you’re watching a match on TV (Sky Sports , Setanta , maybe ESPN) although don't overuse the TV companies name or make it too commercial (e.g. "Setanta Sports' FiFa 2009") But please don't have a made up TV company like EA Sports TV , the EA Sports Boots are bad enough).
2) More Competitions
- World Cup
- European Championships
- Copa America
- African Cup of Nations
- World Club Championships
- Champions League (Not EEC)
- UEFA Cup (Not EFA)
- Copa Libertadores
3) Better Commentary
- This is hard to explain but say if there is a shot that is narrowly wide have the commentator stop what he is saying and go "Oooooooh" or something. In FiFa 20008 he says all the build up and by the time he comments on the shot the GK has already taken the kick out.
- Add a third commentator and switch between him and Andy Gray throughout the season, this would give the game more variety

29) In Manager Mode, If you are doing well other clubs offer you jobs
30) Fix minor mistakes, Community Shield being played at home teams ground etc.

67) In Manager Mode pay player wages weekly, not after every match

72) Don’t have 3rd kits as unlockable extras, they should be available from the start

74) Delayed offside decisions, The players all celebrate until they notice the Linesman’s flag
75) Real + Photo-realistic Referees
76) 2 Player Arena Mode [Like NBA 08]
77) Be able to mix + match kits (Manchester United wear either black, white or red shorts when they are wearing their red jersey)
78] More Camera Angles (Broadcast, Bird’s Eye)
79) Much More Player traits (Football Manager 08 has over 50)
80) Be able to wear neck-warmers (Rolando Bianchi, Manchester City)
81) Club Personalities e.g. Arsenal like to play the ball short and slowly build up attacks but Bolton Wanderers play long balls up to a target man
82) In Manager Mode, be able to compare one of your players with a transfer target
83) Have different size pitch dimension (Emirates Stadium is very wide but Div 2 England is short and narrow)
84) If your team is losing late in the game you are showed cut-scenes of fans leaving the stadium
85) Don’t have the defenders congratulating the forward after a goal, this is unrealistic
86) Louder SFX (Ball hitting post/hoardings, net rippling)
87) More personalized menus, In FiFa 2004 the background was of your favourite teams jersey
88] Lots more multiple choice questions in Manager Mode, after 1 season you seem to be getting the same ones again and again
89) In Manager Mode you should be able to find out info about teams in other leagues
90) Be able to pick a vice-captain
91) Be able to pick what players go into the box for corners (Like PES)
92) If a player is injured for 5 weeks you should be able to play him after 4 weeks but he risks further injury
93) Goalkeeper occasionally wears a baseball cap if it is a sunny day
94) Be able to call a player short when taking a free kick
95) When crossing a free kick have one of your players run over the ball thus disorganising the other teams defence
96) When defending a free kick choose what action your wall carries out
97) Players dive in front of the ball if a close range shot is taken in a crowded penalty area
98] Goal Updates go across the bottom of the screen and fans cheer if a rival team concede a goal
99) Fans boo loudly at the end of a game that you have performed badly in
100) Be able to just play a penalty shootout without going through a whole match

I agree with ref on the pitch, its a silly little thing but adds to realism. Also needs more animation, more variety and more than just when you score a goal! I think euro 2008 is a good revamp version of fifa 08. they should just build on that. nothing could go wrong :)

I think I did find the cure to AIDS the other day. Strangely enough it was while playing FIFA08.

To wit: Hold LT + up on L Analog + BBA + down R Analog + Release LT + Hold RB + XXYBA
