Just fyi I'm a Derby supporter not a Manchester United supporter.

Re: What Do Liverpool Cops Do All Day?

Bill, Shandy got burgled and he's an Everton player, the RedStealers supporting (?) dog went along with the cars.

Re: What Do Liverpool Cops Do All Day?

Are you seriously suggesting that the pudly po-po's should have been on stake-out from last December until last week (when Keane got burgled)? Even limiting the shifts to when players were at away matches would be a budget breaker. The players themselves should have private security companies that go on high alert when their clients travel, and they probably all do. This Keane incident is a hotel room - not really his residence - that's being given press because it can be construed as a continuation of a pattern, even though it's much more likely a one-off. I'm sure if/when he relocates from London to Liverpool, he'll have the same security measures as his teammates most certainly have. I've heard that when he's recruiting players Rafa has to throw an extra few quid a week into the pay packet to allow them to cover anticipated security expenditures. ;-)

Re: What Do Liverpool Cops Do All Day?

Shakira Graham:

If you wish to make comments regarding Liverpool fans please learn to spell, or crawl back into your Mancunian rat hole, ( this is how you spell their). And we do have the best fans in the world.

The crimes will never be solved as the Merseyside Police force is completely staffed by Evertonians and Mancunians. With a Chief Constable from Sheffield.

Re: What Do Liverpool Cops Do All Day?

It's just vermin fans way of saying how much they love a player. Either that or for new players its a way of saying welcome to liverpool by thier oh so wonderful fans.

Re: What Do Liverpool Cops Do All Day?

Seven Liverpool players have now been robbed while they were away. The criminals are clearly targeting players from this club. Main rivals? ManU and the Blue. It doesn't take a genius to expect the crooks to be fans of one of these clubs. It's not as if there are no other extremely rich players in the area.

Re: What Do Liverpool Cops Do All Day?

You're right. According to reports I saw, the players were away either on international duty or Champion's League. You might with that sort of pattern, authorities could be on a greater lookout the next few times, given that the schedule is posted everywhere.

Re: What Do Liverpool Cops Do All Day?

Seems well times when they perps know that they are going to be away for matches. This time it was internationals, but I remember Reina was robbed right before the Champion's League final. I think Crouch was robbed too but I don't remember when.
