  Absolute rubbish from someone who does'nt know what he is talking about, How long have you been a Spurs fan? if indeed you are one. When you actually analyse why we are not getting results it boils down to selling our lifeline of the past 2 seasons which papered over the cracks that were there. The squad is completely unbalanced, people are saying there is no leadership on the pitch, well let me tell you something there is none on the bench either. Where does Ramos turn? Tom (Can't run) Huddlestone. Jamie (1 for the future) o'hara. Its obvious that we messed up the transfer window which saw us sell half the squad and leaving the cupboard bare. For at least 3 years us Spurs fans have been calling for a midfield general and a left sided midfielder to no avail, so the board don't respect our opinion? or are they only interested in sell on value? Dos Santos, Modric, Bale, Bentley all brought for sell on value. Why did we buy Bentley and sell Malbranque? when we already have a gaping hole on the left side of midfield. Levy has been caught with his trousers down this time and all true Spurs fans know what his game is. Just to sum up Enic please sell us now! your time is up its a new era in football now, thanks for everything but its time to move on to a proper benefactor who actually wants to build a good club and not a good business.

  This was the same argument used last year when Jol was kicked out - he should be able to manage with the players Comolli has brought in.It glosses over the fact that most of Comolli's signings have been ineffective or not what was needed- Kaboul, KPB, Bentley etc. We've been crying out for a good left winger and a defensive midfielder
  for 2 years now- where are they? Add to this the fiasco of selling off the attack ( although I think Levy is more to blame for this ) then Hey Presto we are, where we are !!
  The only defence for Comolli is that Levy has apparently vetoed some signings as too expensive e.g. Milito, Arshavin? Capel? + the fact that the whole structure is cockeyed i.e. without the manager having the final say in transfers he is inevitably undermined by having to play players he would not have chosen.
  I always thought we would get Martin O'Neill after the Hoddle episode - but apparently Martin turned us down as he did not wish to work under a director of football. Well done Martin!

  I have to agree with the substance, thought not the tone of the earlier posts. I think the big name signings haven't been prudent and mask inherent weaknesses in the squad. These problems existed well before Ramos got there. He hasn't helped matters, but he can't exactly be blamed.

  Why is King only playing in Uefa cup. If he can only play one match a week then why dont he play premiership matches. He has played 5 this year and guess what Tottenham have not lost. I dont think Blaming Comoli or Levi is right, all these players where actually good before they came to spurs. Blame the boufoon Ramos.

  Chris,
  Comolli told Carrick to fuck off because Zokora was better. He dismantled the core of a team that won 5th twice (which was Arnesen's team) to build an arguably poor squad. I have a lot of doubt to the actual vs perceived talent. He has bought AND SOLD Mido, Murphy, Steed, Chimbonda and Kaboul in 2.5 years. The turnover is incredible. And he forced out a great coach, who he was after two Christmas' ago in order to bring in his guy: Ramos. Ramos, might suck, but Comolli should have known it.
  
  Comolli is completely to blame, with Levy's greedy antics also culpable. We are not stupidnas you would seem to suggest. Just highly attuned to our club. And we understand why we are getting relegated.

  1)I think Ramos was the wrong guy for us, he is crap, cant make a proper decision.
  
  2) Need to get rid of players such as Zakora, King (always injured) Dawson, Bent, Pavlachenko, Huddlestone.
  
  3) Woodgate should be captain.
  
  4) Arsenal are soooo much better than us, coz they have younger fitter players, so what happened we bought an arsenal reject Bentley (what rubbish). Where the heck is Huddlestone i bet hes eating some thing very fatty. wHERE ALL OUR young players.
  
  We are crap, n im willing to trade my season ticket in for one at the Emirates, thats how much i Hate this.
  
  Actually 3 of my m8s have already switched from Spurs to Arsenal, what is going on.

  theres only one thing wrong COMOLLI. he has allowed us to sell anyone with any decent experience outside of Spurs, We have been buying youngster after youngster and now we are left with a bunch of boys as all the men are gone or constantly injured, so now theres no leaders on the field any more. we need two or three captain figures, Richard Dunne from Man City, Gareth Barry from Aston Villa, he is a spurs fan, failing Barry we could get Kevin Nolan cheaper. plus we should get Michael Owen, he would bring us the goals we lost through keane, and also he is another born leader

  I agree Gaffer. Ramos has been in charge of the squad for 12 months. Its clearer than ever after Spurs' loss to Stoke that he is not the man for the job. It's really the two Red Cards that need to be considered. Here is clear evidence of a manager losing control of his team; a sign of a complete lack of discipline and coaching in the locker room and on the pitch.
  
  The old saying goes that the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. The 4-1-4-1 formation is not working. He keeps trying it expecting that this time Spurs will score. They won't. And if Pavs was fit enough to play the whole second half, why didn't he start up front with Bent in the first half? Spurs need more not less striking options up front for the *entire* match.
  
  How about giving some other players a chance? Where is Hudds? Where is Taarabt? Dos Santas? Spurs need to take some chances, and that means taking a chance on players other than JJ and Zokora. Ramos seems unwilling or unable to take such risks or chances even in desperate times such as these.
  
  Substitutions: Bentley was finally playing with some fire yesterday, but was taken off the pitch. This has happened before when other players are having good games. Ramos keeps putting his strategy above "reading" the players on the pitch. Strategy must be built upon performance, not the other way around. Finally, all this talk about firing Ramos would be a disaster is complete BS. It is *already* a disaster.
  
  True, Ramos was not helped by Comoli and Levi in the summer. But ya know what, you coach and manager the team you have, not the team you want to have. What's Ramos going to do, lose every game until January because he doesn't have the "right" players?
  
  Ramos is not personally or emotionally connecting with the players for whatever reason. He is repeatedly forcing a style of play that is not working. He has lost the confidence of the fans. He has lost discipline over his players. Spurs are staring relegation in the face. Ramos has got to go.

  total gibberish. Ramos isn't doing a good job, and I'm sure there are a lot of managers who could do better, but the fundamental problems are:
  Lack of a left midfielder
  Lack of a holding midfielder
  Lack of a strikeforce (having sold one of the best strikeforces in the Premiership)
  
  There isn't a manager in the land who could make Spurs' current squad compete with the big-boys. Mid-table, possibly. But with goals only coming from mistaken linesmen (Stoke) and killer-balls played by opposition players (Lampard to Bent against Chelsea), Tottenham simply cannot hope to do well. It's the fault of Comolli, Levy, Ramos, and the players themselves. But blaming or driving out any of them will change nothing - we need strikers coming in. I don't understand why we didn't make some free transfers. Didn't Reading just ship out Lita on a free? Better to have a handful of average strikers than Pav (unproven in the Prem, and looks like he doesn't care whether he stays or goes) Bent (doesn't like the ball to feet, so is completely incompatible with our midfield) and Frazer-Campbell (United youngster, who's just here for experience). Surely better to get as many players as possible who are willing to fight for a first team place? But no, the board don't want to pay a player if they're not likely to turn a profit.

  comolli and levy were behind martin jol exit from the Lane so we wouldnt even have Ramos if it wasnt for him

  Comolli needs to go end of..... i do believe in Ramos, the problem is he does not have a DOF he can work with. its well documented in spain that spurs nicked the wrong man when they poached Ramos, Sevilla’s success is credited to their DOF and not Ramos. So if we want Sevilla’s success at using the DOF system then we have to nick their DOF. but that wont ever happen. So its probably better to cut our losses and just ditch the DOF system altogether. But i would do my best to get the Sevilla man first, you look at their team and its easy to see he knows how to attract players and makes the right choices, they have come such a long way in such a small amount of time, and Ramos’s departure has not effected them in the slightest, so it must be the players and DOF who got them where they are.

  Yeah, Commoli can't possibly be the problem. The managers are total crap. Ramos? Who cares about back to back European trophies? They're only UEFA cups, right? Jol? What a waster! I bet his new German club are total pants with him mana...
  
  What? They are? Top? Ahead of Bayern? Oh, nevermind...
  
  By the way, RKC Waalwijk, were a solid mid-table, sometimes higher club under Jol's guidance. Two seasons after he left , they were relegated.
  
  So, I guess the real question is, seeing how Jol was let go so early last season, is this the first season without him, or the second?

  Just face it guys. In order to stay in the premiership the safe number is 40 points. That means winning 50% of our remaining 30 games. And on current performance I just can't see that happening. Not quire sure where the blame lies, more than one person thats for sure. Unless we make some super signings in January or get a change of strategy which includes bringing back players like O'Hara, Tarrabat, or even Ghaly who all have energy and fight in them then we will be doomed!!!
  
  I agree with the posts above which say that Ramo's doesn't seem interested in doing that and also think the big problem is the language barriar. You need to be able to communicate with your team and get them fired up...
  
  Ramo's isn't working, but he's not the only one. Get rid of Ramo's, Commoli, and while were at it Levy too! Then lets bring back Jol who on an interview I heard over the weekend said he loved the club and misses them and his old pad in the UK. Remember where he got us for 2 years in a row. I think with the control of the players under Jol we would have got into the top 4, but that will take some time to achive again now.
