  • Howard Webb actually officiated a match here in the states this past week and he seemed to enjoy the experience. Why? No Fergie to berate him or John Terry to lead a march of players surrounding him. The game which went 120 minutes and pks, was generally a polite but intense affair as it was the final of one of our regional competitions.

    I think it has become cultural thing to beat up on the officials in the PL, and it is unhealthy.
  • If the John Terrys and Wayne Rooneys of the league are actually disciplined when they're out of line, I believe the campaign can be effective. I'll be surprised if the existing double standard for the English boys is eradicated.
