Who for you are the top 10 most boring sides in the Premiership this season?
The competition for the top 10 spots is tougher now than in quite some time. Here are my top 10 most boring sides:

  • I would have definitely had Chelsea at the top, with all the money they have to spend they have no excuses for the bland football they play.
  • I would hav Charlton at the top, there can't be many people who enjoy watching them, followed by the 2 promoted teams watford and sheffield united closely followed by middlesborough who are surprisingly boring this year, i disagree with west ham being in the top 10 even though they are toilet, they try and play attacking football. >> Jimmy Ellis, Stockport <<
  • That looks about right.
  • I don't mind watching Chelsea, because it's fun for me to watch a side maintain possession with ease...but I don't blame the others for thinking they're boring.
  • Arsenal are boring to me. Too much fannying about in front of the defence and then give it away. Liverpool are bit dull to watch as well.
  • City has had maybe 3 highlights all season. The great goal by Micah Richards in waning moments at Goodison park is one, and perhaps the outlandish celebration by Joey Barton after the whistle moments after Richards' goal which the Liverpool Police had to deal with is another. The third would be Barton's PK make against Arsenal. Plus having Barton and Ben Thatcher on the same side makes us all the less likible for lay fans.

City knows they need to change things. Chairman John Wardle spoke on this week's official MCFC podcast (which I'll make a reference to when I do my next Man City call in for Phil and Tony on Soccer Shout) of getting some investment in the club because otherwise we will be fighting relegation every season. I hope that means they are serious about getting some investor considering City finished 15th last season, and are behind that pace this season, relegation looms as a real possibility unless things change.
  • Your first nine seem OK, but surely Chelsea can't be included in the listing of boring sides. With Didier Drogba topping the EPL goal scoring list, he alone saves Chelsea from being called boring. Why doesn't Drogba move to Melbourne Victory?
