    It's no coincidence that there was no trouble involving Man Utd and Spurs fans until they visited Spain and Italy, countries notorious for thug fans and powermad police

    Consider the fact that most of your readers come to your site because they follow the EPL so are inclined to believe the English version of events. I'm not saying what did or did not happen (I don't have all the details, but I suspect both fans and police are at fault), but the makeup of the people taking your survey explains the results you got.
