The Sloper · 1 year agoLiverpool beating the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, AC Milan, Barcelona, etc, etc, is nothing new. However, nor is Liverpool losing or drawing against the likes of Stoke and Aston Villa! That's the problem Liverpool have - they seem to be able to get themselves up for the games against the big clubs, while not being able to get motivated for the lesser lights of the modern game.

Ibracadabra · 1 year agoI also worry about defensive lapses against stronger opponents (like Skrtel's mistake against PSV). Man City will be disposed of on the weekend, but I don't think the quality in the side can rival Chelsea or Man Utd.'s this year.
