Who says its a poor mans version of SKY? Thats the first time I've ever read that. Your article reads like a playground bully who can't get what he wants. Embarrassing really.

    John:

I wrote that based on what I hear. There's seems to be grumbling about the Sky/Setanta situation, with more towards the latter than the former. Do I think it's fair? No, absolutely not. Setanta can't mimic Sky's model at all (kind of hard to do when you don't have your own full-service satellite network to sell), and I think they're doing well with what they have.

What a load of rubbish Jeff, you have been reading too much of the Murdoch based press. It's interesting that all of a sudden the Times is taking up the fans cause when for the last 15 years they haven't given a damn, because like SKY they are owned by Murdoch. For me Setanta have done alot for football and I enjoy their coverage.

Jeff is almost spot on. Setanta have alienated themselves with their highlights refusal and their unbelievable cancellation policy. I thought Sky were bad but they've got nothing on this lot.
