EPL Talk: Premiership & The Continental Divide

    Okay, call me a confused American (which is true), but I don't understand. You write:


    "Is it any coincidence that out of the top five teams in the EPL table, that four of the five are from the continent?"



    Aren't they all from the UK? Three are from London, one from Manchester and the other from Liverpool.



    Is this just a phrase I don't understand?

    Good catch, JC. Yep, I meant the managers.


    Interestingly, even though Europe is a continent, the Brits consider "the continent" the mainland part of Europe, i.e. France and beyond.
