the Guardian journos have been terribly unfair to Rumania, i think. certainly the lustiest anthem-singers in the competition. will be rooting for them today and would frankly like their odds against Spain.

I'm thinking Romania too. The only hope Italy and France have is that the Dutch second-stringers really want to impress van Basten and we get a couple of games with three teams desperate for a win.
