EPL Talk: Only a Matter of Time Before Berbatov Leaves Spurs

  • Anonymous · 2 years ago
What a load of unsubstantiated rubbish.

We are financially in a position to keep Berbatov whatever Man U or whoever else may offer for him.

If the player himself wants to leave then of course there is nothing we can do about it, but to paint the picture that we would part with Berbatov willingly is absurd.

Hmmm, poorly thought out piece I'm afraid.
Classic case of tabloid sports writing.

Put two and two together, only to come up with five.

Also, the fact you claim Berbatov has incredible pace suggests you have never seen the Bulgarian hitman play!

    Give it up.

'it's only a matter of time before berbatov leaves spurs'. err...what a blinding revelation!! i'm glad you took the time to come on here and enlighten us all. where would we be without your insights, your insider-knowledge of the goings on THFC? Cheers. Keep up the good work

Berbo should leave Tottenham ASAP. His talent is being wasted by being teammates with mistakes of nature such as Jenas. Berbo is 10X better than all of his teammates combined(with the exception of Keane).

I actually haven't been that impressed with him this season. Given, he has been caught in the morass of the rest of the squad. But he hasn't looked like the dominant player he was last season.

There is also his record against the big clubs to worry about.

Spurs made a mistake not selling him in the summer. I think his transfer value has probably halved.

To the aforementioned Spurs supporter, yes they can compete with virtually any club for money. It is the little things like winning trophies and competing in the Champions League that get in the way.

I think Spurs would part with him due to Berb's own wantaway attitude (thats my opinion mind you, not substantiated proof!).
If he wants out and he doesnt look like he has enjoyed this season at all, then Spurs would be wise to let him go as I think he's turned into poison for them - I reckon they could get 16 mill for them (Spurs hold out forever historically) and thats probably good for all concerned. I cant see United taking him at this point however and see him either going to Chelsea or abroad.
