  You fans that are anti-G& H are deficient of intellect - acting only on emotion.
  LFC's problems did not start with G&H - but long before that. Failure by the board to capitalise on a leading brand helped the Mancs ,Arses & Chelsea to increase brand market share, resulting in great revenues that could finance the purchase of world class players. Even in our golden years marketing the LFC brand was not considered that important in the global sense. Even presently- nearly 4 years after Istanbul, LFC do not know how to market the brand globally. G&H will be able to do this far more competently than Moores and Parry( who I agree has been a disgrace in this department).
  Glazer took a few years to get it right at United - G&H also need a few more years.
  Don't go jumping like headless chickens for DIC- you also don't know their agenda and ability to bring success to LFC.
  Finally don't forget the major purchases funded by G7H - you fans exalt these same players but condemn the owners that financed the deals.
  Let us all just be patient, get behing the team, the manager and the owners, who can do with the support - this will have the effect of them investing more into the club.
  Don't forget that with winning the PL and the CL is worth 80 million pounds.
  LFC is just 1 P/L ( 50 million )victory short of reversing its financial misfortunes around.

  Totally agree with you on your Parry evaluation. However you are too optimistic I think. At this point, with G&H owing so much money, any money we win would probably be used by them to pay off the loans. You don't actually expect them to pass on the money to Benitez to strenghten the squad?
  Anoter point is the fact that Benitez, Kuyt and Agger among others have not even been offered a contract extension yet.
  And the new stadium.........
  All point to the fact that money is a big problem for us. Anythiong we win will be used for their personal reasons. Don't forget htese guys where ready to use the money from the club to finance their other clubs in the US

  stanley ur an idoiot! gillett and hicks didnt finance any transfers they have just ran up massive debt on the club which moores could have done! the fact is they have done nothing but lie since they arrived saying no debt would be transfered on2 the club and that building work on the stadium would start in 60 days, and whats happened 2 rafas contract extension? the fact is these 2 robbing b******ds have made a mockery of what was once a respected family club! i agree moores should b shot 4 letting these 2 in and allowing the club 2 fall behind, he is an idiot but an honest idiot! I only hope DIC takeover before they start selling our star players 2 pay back THEIR loans!

  First of all: They are lyers! Nobody can trust them anymore!!! Or would you live with a woman who cheated you several times??? For sure...

  Im sorry Stanley but you're wrong mate G&H have NEVER put their hands in their pockets to pay for ANY of our players, check the facts and then come back to me. G&H are LIARS and it is reported they are now going to pay the interest on the repayments from the clubs profits...again LIARS....DIC are renowned for only making investments that can enhance their own profile, they're horse racing stables are second to none and they take pride in their achievments, they are after Liverpool FC because it is a thoroughbred. Maktoum does not need the money and so will be willing to invest. G&H on the other hand are chancers with no self esteem..YOU WORK FOR G&H PR DEPT and i claim my five dollars....GILLETTE AND HICKS GET OUT OF OUR CLUB.

  STANLEY you must me a member of the gillet or hicks family to come on this site and talk such bollocks. they bought players by putting liverpool into debt, they went behind benitez back and offered klinssmann his job and changed the 75,000 seater stadium to a 65.000 seater and now have put a hold on construction. when they arrived they said there would be a spade in the ground on the new stadium within six weeks.
  they are greedy lying ruthless buisnessmen whoshould not be in charge of our club or any football club.these are the people who will kill our great game.

  Stanley stanley stanley . . . .what the hell do you sound like . . . I'll tell you, a marketing student. Any fan that relates to LFC as 'a brand' needs to avoid contributing to forums. I have a deadly passion for club, I'm a fan not a 'consumer'. i agree that the marketing dept within the club are clueless and this needs addresses, this should be a much bigger revenue stream, but . . . . . . . .the reason why you market the product is to create additonal sales (sorry i'm trying to speak in your marketing twang!) . . .yes yes theres brand building, brand awareness, etc but the end result should be increased revenue.
  Why the hell would you need G and H at liverpool to do this?? they're blowing 30 million quid on loan repayments so surely this counteracts any increase in 'brand advocacy'.
  Question to stanley the marketing student . . . . how do you market a club thats just gone bankrupt becuase 2 american twats wanted to make a quick buck?

  My sources tell me Gillett is putting up the majority of the $40 million Saputo had pledged to MLS for an expansion fee to move the Impact from USL to MLS. So clearly he is counting on this sale putting the cash in his hands before MLS asks for the money, likely in January.

  The Americans were only in it for the money. They thought they were gonna make millions until hit by the credit crunch.
  To say people are deficient of intellect shows how obnoxious you are and a fan Liverpool can do without. Its your opinion which you assume to be correct which is in fact bollox.
  The article states that the best thing would be for DIC to buy us. DIC are just one of many investment companies owned by Sheik Mohammed what's his name.
  In the end, the club will be sold to the Sheik, probably for around 500m or less. But on top of that the new ground has to be built. That will cost 400m or so. There ain't gonna be much change from a billion.

  Stanley is a well known Hicks stooge. The only way forward for us is to buy the club ourselves. I will personally put £10,000. We need 100,000 of you Liverpool supporters to do the same. We will rid the club of all debt and have enough money to build a new stadium. Every year I will invest £100. This will immediately give us a profit of £10,000,000. With increasing Sky revenue plus Champions League revenue and Premier Legue winnings , plus the revenue for worldwide sales and advertising, and with 100,000 people who dont want to make a profit but to see our club as the best in the world. Think about it.. Liverpool F.C are in the top 5 clubs worldwide. Y,N,W,A.

  I live in dubai, and am part of Dubai reds, the Offical supporters group for Liverpool in Dubai. We are waiting for any part of Dubai to buy Liverpool, because at least these people will actually sort the financial mess out! Do you see Sheikh Mohammed, throwing away money? do you seem him making bad investments? look at london and see how much of these guys have a connection with the companies, the buildings etc. Its not like they say one thing and do another. They have built an enviable city in a short span of time, it took wembley over a decade to complete. So yes they have the money, but they also have the good business sense to turn things around for the club. epect the brandinge etc, the sponsorship deals. the marketing. expect a board room shuffle. expect an overhaul of the old rear guard to the new way. Goto dubai holdings website and see what they actual own. you will be shocked. In this volatile market, a compnay that has sound investments, must be worth a try. its got to be better than to yanks who cant even kick a football! and the one big key factor - DIC want liverpool, they have the love for it jsut like the supporters. How many times has DIC spoken with the fans group? a lot more than the current owners. Lets just wait... Let bring back the glory and the power.

  There are two reasons why the yanks will be told by the banks involved, RBS is owned more or less by the british govt, who brought out a brief , outlining that the four top clubs owe a staggering 2 billion in debt, they will not refinance the 350 million dealand push it up further, while UEFA and that worm Blatter are only waiting to get more ammo and shaft the english clubs out of Europe,
  The English MP'S for Anfield and surrounding areas have outlined their displeasure to
  the Govt , citing a new investor will create a 1000 new jobs if and when he started to build the new stadium and thus would regenerate the whole Anfield area, this in an area that has a high level of unemployment, they like us that selling out to the yanks was a huge mistake, that they were out to make a quick buck, while Google was their
  salvation in learning about Liverpool FC, this was the best deal Liverpool would get
  added COCO , it was for himself and Moores, not for L iverpool.
  I sincerely hope that sheikh Mohammed will buy Liverpool, but not for the 550 million asked by the yanks, hes no fool , he will wait and hopfully the banks will force their hand as a buyer is readily available , some thing Everton or Newcasle are finding difficult to obtain.
