The problem is that all the media are happy to lead with facile, lazy, superficial analysis. The solution is to write/e-mail to the editors of newspapers and tv channels and tell them that you will no longer be buying their newspapers due to the low quality of their analysis. That you will no longer be watching anything but the match sections of football programmes as the analysis is not worth listening to and represents wasted time in your life that you will never get back. We live in an age where information and news are free. Why pay for 3rd rate, self-opinionated, biased drivel dressed up as analysis? Make the editors understand the direct correlation between quality and revenue. As soon as they start losing revenue they will begin to act more professionally, not before.

of humor to expect this to be a joke, RTE is the only joke in this situation and forget Dunphy for a moment as he only went along with what has been said on this show for the last couple of months, the presenter Bill O'Herlihy has savegly attacked everything and everyone at Arsenal in the last 6 months, his bias towards man utd far exceeds anything i have witnessed on skysports or Setanta, this television station will rather view a foreign champions league game than an Arsenal one. i am Irish and for anybody unaware of this fact 80 percent of this country supports man utd, which for me highlights the stereotype of dumb irish people, this country glorifies scum like Roy Keane & begrudges a man who will not sign players in January just for the hell it, out of repect for the young players in the club, a man who urges his players never to cheat, to be honest with his tactics, honest with his opinions and comments, i am very proud of Liam Brady for standing up against these win at all cost scumbags, Brady got annoyed because he knows that Arsene Wenger deserves more repect than the media has ever shown him, it has less to do with Wenger being a foreigner and more to do with down right jealously, If ferguson had spent the same money as Wenger ,his side wouldn't even reach the uefa cup, that's the reality and they know it, and it hurts them, down right jealousy is what it is,
RTE is a disgrace for allowing these bias so called experts to air their views.
i will be complaining to RTE directly and i urge everyone to do the same, this was wrong very wrong and it has been going on for way to long.

To Andy - I think that you're actually missing Brady's point. His point was that the reel was pre-edited and ready to go. They had basically prepared a hatchet job on Wenger without any balance. Was there a similar reel of Benitez? No. I don't think that Chippy would have lost his cool if there had been a bit of balance. Oh, and Dunphy's a cunt of the highest order. Anyone who takes Dunphy seriously is an idiot. The only reason he is on the panel is that he is guaranteed to be controversial, and will say anything even if it contradicts what he said previously.
Don't believe me? Well when Brady was playing for the Republic of Ireland and they were just missing out on qualification for tournaments Dunphy was lambasting the side for not getting stuck in and pplaying British style football. As soon as Jack Charlton go the side to 3 major tournaments by playing the way Dunphy advocated, who was on TV loning for the days when Ireland played good football?
And going back to the 82 world cup when Italy put Brazil out who was the only pundit to say that he was glad to see the back of Socrates and Zico and co? why it was our friend Dunphy.
In addition people for whom he has gost written books have also complained that what appeared in the book was not what the told him e'g. U2 and Roy Keane.

Think you're missing the point lads, as did Liam Brady. The video reel was intended to show that Wenger has transformed from a quiet reflective manager on the sidelines to an agitated manager who prowls the touchline shouting and gesturing. Why? Because he's frustrated with his team - they have lost their nerve at the crucial time. For Brady to say that he wouldn't have gone on the show if he knew that was going to be shown is a joke - a loss of humour as the death-knell sounds on Arsenal's season.
