  • Sadly, I have to interview the coach of the Cleveland City Stars who is preparing for the USL-2 title game (Saturday vs Charlotte) today at 3:30. So I'm going to miss a huge chunk of today's England game.
  • Should be a good one, Richmond crashed out once again at home, but there was going to be some interest in that here if they would've made the final.
  • Yeah Richmond crashing out yet again shocked me.
  • Defoe and Lampard are both puzzling.

Why not slide Barry into the holding role, sit Lampard, and plug Joe Cole in on the wing? I'm no Chelsea fan, but the little fella is probably the most creative player that England has to offer.

Then drop Defoe for Agbonlahor - I'm not a huge fan of either but at least Agbonlahor has his moments...

Defoe is overrated - he's the kind of striker that perfoms well in blowouts, but never wins you any close matches. Hell, even Crouch would be better!
  • So much for experimenting in friendlies. Who filled out this lineup card Sven? McClaren? :)
