when terry comes back, things will be much improved...even though it won't solve everything

"Mourinho's only hope is to win the Champions League".

Well, I can see how it's easy to arrive at that conclusion if you don't know an awful lot about the game. But it's abundantly clear that the loss of Ronaldo would bring United's season to a shuddering halt. Whereas Chelsea, who haven't had an injury list like this for years, are still chugging along 2 wins behind Ferguson.

You read the tabloids, don't you?

    Ole,

I didn't say that "Mourinho's only hope is to win the Champions League." I said "Mourinho's only saving grace is to win a Champions League trophy," which is a big difference.

    Cheers,

I've been saying this for the last two months. Now with the rumor mill from very credible sources saying Mourinho is in trouble, something tells me that the poor result last night plus the fact I honestly feel it's Champions League or bust for Chelsea this season could see the special one looking for his next challenge.

When you go for one title, you end up winning none.

The quotes he made today (on the BBC), Mourinho said: "I've identified the players that I want but they will not come. It's club reasons and I don't have to tell you why."

"I have asked for players and it's not my choice that no-one is coming."

It seems likes he's already planning his exit.

Mourinho foreshadowed his departure from Chelsea last MAY when he tossed his EPL championship medal into the stands.

The ONLY thing that might save Mourinho from being fired is winning the Champions League.
