Either way, Liverpool fans & players need to get real: not finding a consistent team of XI and a long line of draws is a much bigger reason for Liverpool's league position then anything the owners have done. If the fans don't get realistic and acknowledge this truth then they are just as delusional as the Newcastle United fans who somehow think that their current squad should be Champions League material instead of struggling mid-table.

They've input NO money of their own so far, restricted the transfer expenditure to less than previous years and made numerous public gaffes.
Hicks has compared the club to buying Weetabix, told Texas Rangers fans money from Liverpool could be put into Rangers and Stars teams, approached Klinsmann, admitted to approaching Klinsmann. Lied about backing Benitez in the transfer market.

Who's saying fans are blaming the current performance of the TEAM on the owners? Im not but it cant be helping thats for sure.

A good/bad read, but one of many I have induldged in, in my quest to understnd your sport. It makes me ill and ashamed! Hicks/Gillett don't even get along.
