  • Why did you put up the London Olympics logo?

Can't you tell looking at ugly things is not all that great? :)
  • Give 'em 'ell 'Arry!!! Of course, they'll probably lose in the quarters on penalty kicks...

Of course, we won't get out of the group stage...
  • "we won't get out of the group stage"

We have to qualify first which is iffy at best as proven the last two go rounds.

If we had played Guatemala instead of Canada in the semifinals we'd have lost for sure. Guatemala had just dominated Mexico days earlier.
  • I should point out we made the semifinals in 2000 of the Olympics but again that was because it was not in Europe. The US has never advanced out of the the group stage of any tournament at any level held in Europe, while our record is quite good at all levels in tournaments held outside of Europe.
  • Something in the water then in Europe?
  • If there is a UK team in 2012, they would get into the tournament as hosts and not have to qualify.
  • Brian, when Kartik was referring to "we", he meant the US, not Great Britain.
