The story has some legs because Lampard is 29 and this could be his last shot at playing abroad if that's something he's really interested in.

However, all of these papers/websites print tons of rumours that never come to fruition. They are largely done to sell papers/drive traffic to their sites. How many times has Klaas-Jan Huntelaar been on his way to Manchester United in the last two years? A dozen or more? Last I checked he was still in Amsterdam playing for Ajax. Of course now that I say that the transfer will happen and I'll be left with egg on my face :)

One week later and I'm still waiting for Frank Lampard to announce that he's signed for Inter Milan. After all, The Daily Express said it was true and they're never wrong, right?! ; )
