Last year the Crew played Everton and it was a match actually played at a pretty high level for a friendly. I think Moyes was feeling some pressure after a poor 2005/06 season and the Crew were making a playoff push so both teams used the friendly to really focus on their squads rather than just for show as many of these matches turn out to be. The match ended in a 1-1 draw because James Beattie was so awful for Everton and I think that may have convinced Moyes to use just one striker (Andy Johnson) when they returned to England.</description><dc:creator xmlns:dc="http://purl.org/dc/elements/1.1/">Kartik</dc:creator><pubDate>Fri, 15 Jun 2007 13:03:00 -0000</pubDate></item></channel></rss>
