i actually have no problem with domenech's philosophy. the point of the tournament isn't to be playing amazingly well early on, it is to qualify from your group and to continue to improve every game. then to be on top of your game during the knockout rounds. that is why spain always starts off guns blazing but fizzles out. though that could be due to any number of reasons such as inexperience, coaching, leadership, etc. honestly domenech knows how to do it too with france, see WC06.

Isn't Domenech's philosophy mainly base on Astrology?

Any philosophy that doesn't find room for Mexes in a France squad has to be fatally flawed.

Yup, sick isn't it. Pires too was a victim of this, and hasn't been capped I believe since early in Dommenech's tenure.

pires is a 34 year old winger, he won't displace malouda or ribery in the squad.

mexes should've started though. however gallas and thuram have massive tournament experience and mexes would not have even seen any time if he was brought in.

ok i officially admit domenech is a moron. however it is as much the players fault as it is his. now i understand why coupet was never able to displace a barthez. he was an embarrassment with those last two goals.
