EPL Talk: Dos Santos Confirms Tottenham Move

    This isn't hyperbole:

I feel Gio has the potential to become one of the best players in the world. He holds the key along with Carlos Vela for working with Sven to turn El Tri around and back to the dominant force they should be.

He certainly has potential and can become an impact player if he works hard and gets regular playing time.

Good point about Eriksson there, he's going to be working with two top quality coaches on a regular basis. He has certainly shown flashes of brilliance over the last season, so Tottenham know what potential the boy has. I think Ramos is the type of coach that make Dos Santos even better.

this officially proves what all gooners came to realize..that diarra is a c*nt.

Diarra is certainly a strange one. Is he trying to break the record for most clubs played for in one career??

    Good one!

Diarra seems well on his way to that record. I can never keep track of where he is at the moment!
The Mexico international will sign a five-year deal in a move which will cost an initial £4.7m and could rise to £8.6m depending on appearances.
Seems a reasonable deal. As i've said before i don't think Dos Santos has developed at the level say Anderson and Vela from the u17s. He could well be a success in England but is still quite a distance from the finished article. He has yet to show his full potential and what should concern is his arrogant mentality that has been reported by the papers in Spain, which along with not getting first team football, is why he is leaving Barcelona. His attitude is a problem especially considering he has yet to achieve anything at senior level football.

One of the few decisions i agree with Domenech on is that Diarra is a better option in midfield than say Flamini. Surely if he stayed at Arsenal he would be in the team. Aside from his obvious attitude problems i think Diarra is a much more dynamic footballer than Flamini capable of become a main stayer in the French midfield.
