This is a game that Man U cannot even afford to draw. A draw at the bridge is a likely scenario. Its a case of who smells blood will reap the benefits. Other than the aforementioned,I then can only see the title going to Old trafford

Re: Chelsea is Closer to Winning the Premier League Title Than You Think

Focusing on the away fixtures for Chelsea. Citizens are a different story now. They won only one of their last 5 matches, when the refs helped them against Sp*rs. Please remember that Chelsea is the best in the league considering the away matches gaining just -3 points less than at SB. In last 13 meetings between those 2 sides Chelsea won 11! - draw 1 and lost 1. Lately Everton also is not as strong as it used to be earlier this season plus they won only once against Chelsea during the last 8 years, and Newcastle won't be a problem. The teams that Chelsea will have to face are a good sides, but looking at the history, they always had problems against The Blues. No doubt that ManU at home will be key, but i also count on Villa being able to make an upset, the same Borough can do (both tied with Gunners lately). Arsenal, Blackburn and WHU are also able to get a point against ManU, and Chelsea needs United to draw only twice. CFC a champion? Really possible

Re: Chelsea is Closer to Winning the Premier League Title Than You Think

I think it's almost impossible Chelsea win all their remaining games, with Man City away after an away CL game being the hardest. And I don't really see Chelsea winning that one. Chelsea will either drop points there or at Everton.

Re: Chelsea is Closer to Winning the Premier League Title Than You Think

I thought they were close, how much closer could they be?

Re: Chelsea is Closer to Winning the Premier League Title Than You Think

There are some big 'Ifs' in that analysis:

- IF Chelsea beat United at Stamford Bridge
- IF Man U lose one of their other matches
- IF Chelsea win all of their remaining fixtures

While it's not impossible for Chelsea to win the league the odds are heavily stacked against them. Chelsea must beat United in their crunch tie. A draw will do United. Chelsea may indeed be closer to winning the Premier League that it appears at first glance but they are not 'that' close.
