It hasn't yet translated into an on-the-pitch reason for this to be one of the best seasons ever, but I imagine it will get interesting come January.

Re: 10 Reasons Why This Premier League Season Is The Best Yet

Look where the ball is though...its looks far away enough that it makes me think that Delap is just over-steping the line due to his momentum after making a legal throw

Re: 10 Reasons Why This Premier League Season Is The Best Yet

I'd add Newcastle to the mix - Kinnear, Keegan, Ashley have made the Newcastle race entertaining already along with Spurs. It really has been an amazing start to the season but ultimately I expect Chelsea to win the Premiership early :(

Re: 10 Reasons Why This Premier League Season Is The Best Yet

I noticed an interesting picture from Soccernet today:

http://soccernet.espn.go.co...

There's no way of knowing if this is *the* throw-in in question, but it's pretty obvious that Delap has produced a foul throw. Look where his feet are! Another knock for the respect campaign? Every time the refs botch a simple call, it's a little credibility-crusher.

SB
