The whole Manchester City story (off the pitch)... one minute their Chairman has been indicted and his assets frozen and they look like doing a Leeds United (not enough to cash pay wages - the specter of selling off their best players...), then the miraculous transfer deadline day takeover, a complete reversal of fortunes, and nicking Chelsea's summer-long transfer target. It hasn't yet translated into an on-the-pitch reason for this to be one of the best seasons ever, but I imagine it will get interesting come January.

Look where the ball is though...its looks far away enough that it makes me think that Delap is just over-steping the line due to his momentum after making a legal throw

I'd add Newcastle to the mix - Kinnear, Keegan, Ashley have made the Newcastle race entertaining already along with Spurs. It really has been an amazing start to the season but ultimately I expect Chelsea to win the Premiership early :(

There's no way of knowing if this is *the* throw-in in question, but it's pretty obvious that Delap has produced a foul throw. Look where his feet are! Another knock for the respect campaign? Every time the refs botch a simple call, it's a little credibility-crusher.

No mystery at Arsenal, they are thin at the back and are still prone to struggle against more physical teams like Stoke. Manchester City are more of a mystery to me these days. How they can lose 2-0 to Bolton is astounding. I'm sure we'll be seeing the "Mark Hughes under pressure" articles any day now.

As for classics you should really have included the Man Utd - Hull match from yesterday. Great action, lots of talking points and a showing that Hull can hold their head high over.
